Ukraine and China agree to expand agricultural exports
Ukraine and China have signed an agreement to expand the list of Ukrainian agricultural products supplied to the Chinese market. This step strengthens trade and economic cooperation between the two countries and opens up new opportunities for Ukrainian producers.

China remains one of the largest buyers of Ukrainian agricultural products. As part of the new agreement, the export list is set to be expanded by including additional product categories. It is expected that this will allow Ukrainian producers to increase supply volumes, boost export revenues, and solidify Ukraine’s position as an important supplier of agricultural products to China.
For Ukraine, this agreement holds strategic significance. Agriculture remains one of the key sectors of the economy, and expanding access to the world’s largest food market offers prospects for growth in the agricultural sector. Additionally, cooperation with China promotes export diversification and reduces dependency on other supply directions.
The signing of the agreement reflects China’s interest in strengthening trade relations with Ukraine. For Beijing, Ukrainian products are an important source of food imports, especially given the unstable global food situation.
The further development of bilateral partnerships in the agricultural sector could contribute to the growth of investments in Ukrainian agriculture, the creation of new jobs, and industry modernization. It is expected that after the agreement comes into force, Ukrainian exports to China will increase significantly.
