Turkey is strengthening Pakistan's army with the help of the defense industry
The Turkish company Repkon will build a factory in Pakistan for the production of artillery shells, increasing the country's defense capabilities.
The Turkish defense industry has signed an agreement with Pakistan to establish production facilities for the production of 155 mm artillery shells.
Repkon will build a highly automated line in Pakistan capable of producing up to 120,000 shells per year. The production and loading of ammunition will also be organized. This project is being implemented in cooperation with Wah Industries Limited (WILL), a subsidiary of Pakistan Ordnance Factories (POF), which will be an important step in strengthening the Pakistani army.
Repkon, which has experience in similar projects in the United States, will apply advanced technologies to create ammunition, which will allow Pakistan to expand its own defense capabilities. Cooperation between Turkey and Pakistan highlights the strengthening of strategic ties and the development of joint capabilities in the defense sector.
