The UK has allocated $6.6 million to support the Somali National Army through the United Nations Office for Support in Somalia (UNSOS) Trust Fund. These funds are aimed at providing the army with food rations and communication equipment, which will increase its operational capabilities. Since 2022, the UK has already invested more than $37 million in assistance to the Somali security forces.
