The mayor of Dearborn promised to arrest Netanyahu and Galant
The mayor of Dearborn said that the city authorities are ready to arrest Netanyahu and Galant if they visit the city.
Mayor of Dearborn (Michigan, USA) Abdullah Hamud made a statement about his readiness to arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Galant if they appear on the territory of the city.
"Our president may not take any action, but the city authorities can guarantee that Netanyahu and other war criminals will not be welcome to travel freely in the United States," Hamoud stressed.
Mayor Dearborn's statement followed the issuance of arrest warrants by the International Criminal Court (ICC) for Netanyahu and Galant on charges of war crimes committed in the Gaza Strip. Dearborn, known for its large Arab community, demonstrates the determination of local authorities to uphold the principles of justice and protect the rights of the Palestinian people.
