Speeches by the leaders of China, Iran, Belarus, Turkey, Palestine and Brazil at the BRICS summit
At the plenary session of the BRICS summit, the leaders of China, Iran, Belarus, Turkey, Palestine and the representative of Brazil expressed their positions on global challenges. Xi Jinping called for peaceful conflict resolution and reform of the global economy to support the Global South. Masoud Pezeshkian from Iran stressed the need to create a world without sanctions and conflicts.
At the plenary session of the BRICS summit, the leaders of China, Iran, Belarus, Turkey, Palestine and the representative of Brazil expressed their positions on key global issues. Chinese President Xi Jinping stressed the need to defend peace, de-escalate the conflict in Ukraine and a complete ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, as well as prevent further escalation in Lebanon. He also advocated the reform of the global economic system with an emphasis on supporting the countries of the Global South. Iranian leader Masoud Pezeshkian stated the importance of creating a world without sanctions and wars, noting the insufficient ability of the UN to regulate conflicts, especially in the Middle East.
