The National Intelligence Service of South Korea (NIS) reported that Kim Jong-sik, a leading North Korean engineer for the development of ballistic missiles, is involved in coordinating the missile operations of the Russian army on the territory of Ukraine. NIS claims that this information was confirmed by analyzing images provided by Ukrainian intelligence. Photos processed by an artificial intelligence facial recognition system showed an Asian man, identified as Kim Jong-sik, standing next to the Russian military at a training ground in Donetsk. Kim Jong-sik previously accompanied North Korean leader Kim Jong-un during his visits to Russia and missile factories in the DPRK.
