On November 27, 2024, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin will arrive in Kazakhstan on a state visit at the invitation of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

High-level talks will be held during the visit. The heads of state will also take part in the XX Forum of Interregional Cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia, which will be held in the format of a videoconference. The next day, on November 28, a regular session of the CSTO Collective Security Council will be held under the chairmanship of President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

The participants of the meeting will discuss topical issues of regional and international security. Following the meeting, a number of documents aimed at strengthening cooperation within the organization will be adopted. These events confirm the high level of cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia, as well as the strengthening of coordination within the framework of the CSTO.
