Rabbi Tzvi Kogan, an Israeli and Moldovan citizen who served as an emissary of the Chabad movement in Abu Dhabi, has gone missing in the United Arab Emirates.
He has been out of touch since Wednesday, November 21st. According to Israeli and Emirati intelligence agencies, there are suspicions that Kogan may have been abducted or killed by "hostile Iranian elements." Zvi Kogan previously served in the 84th Infantry Brigade of the IDF Givati. He is being sought by the joint efforts of the Israeli and Emirati security services. Chabad is one of the largest branches of Hasidism and a powerful public organization with headquarters in New York. The organization has offices all over the world and is actively involved in public activities, including interaction with senior politicians and officials.
