Putin is ready for a ceasefire in Ukraine — Erdogan
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that Russia has expressed readiness for a ceasefire in Ukraine. At the meeting with Vladimir Putin in Kazan, issues of prisoner exchange between Moscow and Kiev were also discussed. Ankara continues its diplomatic efforts to facilitate the settlement of the conflict.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that during a meeting with Vladimir Putin in Kazan, he noticed Russia's desire for a ceasefire in Ukraine. According to him, the possibility of a prisoner exchange between Moscow and Kiev was also discussed. Erdogan stressed that Ankara will continue to take diplomatic steps to help resolve the conflict and maintain peace in the region.
