A man died on board a FlyArystan aircraft travelling from Kostanay to Almaty

The airline said that during the flight KS7141 on the direction Kostanai - Almaty, one of the passengers felt ill soon after takeoff. The aircraft made an emergency landing in Astana.

Flight attendants checked the passenger's pulse and breathing, but found no signs of life. According to the instructions, the crew started first aid and searched for a doctor on board. Then, together with the doctor, the flight attendants performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation using a defibrillator.

"By decision of the commander, the aircraft made an emergency landing at Astana airport to provide medical assistance to the passenger. The airline's flight attendants continued to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation until the arrival at the airport. Unfortunately, the Astana airport doctor stated the passenger's death. The airline expresses sincere condolences to the family and friends of the passenger," the airline said in a statement.
