Michael Gove appointed editor of The Spectator

Former Tory Minister Michael Gove has become the new editor of the conservative magazine The Spectator, a few weeks after it was bought by hedge fund manager Paul Marshall for 100 million pounds. Gove has previously worked as a journalist for The Times, The Daily Telegraph, the BBC and Channel 4.

Michael Gove, who resigned after 14 years in the Tory ranks, has been named editor of The Spectator. The title consisted of a few weeks after the purchase of the magazine by hedge fund manager Paul Marshall for 100 million pounds. Grove, a former Minister of Education and Housing and Communal Services, already has extensive experience in journalism, mostly associated with The Times, Daily Telegraph, BBC and Channel 4.
