The Sanitary and Epidemiological Service of Kazakhstan conducted an inspection of the popular Golden Life pomegranate soda from Afghanistan and identified a number of violations that may pose a threat to the health of consumers.

The inspection revealed the following violations:

Lack of information on the packaging: The sodas' packages do not indicate the composition, date of manufacture and expiration date, which is a mandatory requirement for all food products.
Incorrect labeling of additives and coloring agents: The list of additives and coloring agents is incorrectly indicated, which makes it difficult to assess the safety of the product.
Lack of safety labeling: There is no labeling on the cans to confirm the safety of the beverage, which raises additional concerns.
Azorubin E122: Azorubin E122 dye was found in the soda, which can negatively affect the activity and attention of children. This dye is also used in perfumes and medicines and can cause skin allergic reactions even if the daily allowance is met.

Sanitary services of Kazakhstan urge consumers to be vigilant when buying Golden Life sodas and take into account possible health risks. There is no official ban on the sale of the drink yet, but sanitary authorities continue monitoring and may take additional measures depending on the results of further inspections.

The violations found in Golden Life's popular pomegranate soda raise serious questions about the quality and safety of the product. Consumers are advised to exercise caution and carefully review the information on the package before purchasing.
