Kazakhstan will have the opportunity to get an interest-free loan to study in higher education institutions in the United States. This was announced by the Minister of Science and Higher Education Sayasat Nurbek, announcing new tools to expand access to higher education.

“This year we are launching four new tools to expand access to higher education. One of them is an interest-free loan, which will be available by the end of the year. We, together with several second-tier banks and our financial center, have worked out legislatively this issue, and we are finalizing all the necessary procedures,” Nurbek said.

The Minister emphasized that this credit instrument will allow Kazakhstanis to take interest-free loans for higher education in the U.S., which will significantly expand opportunities for students from Kazakhstan.
