Purpose and functions of the Anti-Fraud Center
The Anti-Fraud Center is designed to detect and block fraudulent transactions, to promptly respond to transactions with signs of fraud, and to exchange information between its participants in real time. The system provides for the maintenance of a unified database on fraudulent transactions, which allows financial organizations to fight financial crimes more effectively.
Initial performance results
Since the launch of the platform, financial organizations and law enforcement agencies have already identified about 400 incidents of fraudulent transactions and blocked funds worth about 30 million tenge. This demonstrates the high efficiency of the new center in combating fraud.
Future development and integration
The press service of the National Bank also reported on the planned development of the Anti-Fraud Center. In particular, it is planned to introduce open APIs and automation of business processes, which will expand the center's ability to integrate with other systems. It is important to note that the center is actively using artificial intelligence for more accurate detection of fraudulent schemes.
