Addressing Student Housing
The President shared significant progress in improving student housing:
- In 2022, 40 dormitories with a capacity of 11,079 places were built in Kazakhstan.
- In 2023, seven more dormitories with 3,400 places are planned to open in Astana.
Currently, the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University provides:
- Eight student dormitories with a total capacity of 4,280 places.
- Collaboration with eight private dormitories, helping to accommodate non-resident students.
By 2025, the total capacity is expected to reach 10,000 places, fully solving the student housing issue.
