The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, ordered the closure of beauty salons whose advertising products violate Islamic norms. We are talking about the demonstration of body parts considered to be aurat, which is forbidden to be shown to outsiders according to Islamic canons.

Those salons that offer services that threaten the health of customers will also be sanctioned. In particular, Kadyrov pointed to dangerous types of "beauty injections" and other cosmetic procedures that are potentially harmful to the body.

The head of Chechnya stressed the need to protect the population from such risks and offered an alternative: the opening of a pharmacy chain in Grozny with separate services for men and women.

This decision causes public discussion both in the republic and abroad, but local authorities emphasize that the initiative is aimed at observing Islamic traditions and preserving the health of citizens.
