The situation in the West Bank remains tense. Israeli forces regularly conduct raids, during which Palestinians are arrested. According to local sources, these detentions take place in various cities and villages, including Ramallah, Hebron, Nablus, and Jenin. Many of those arrested are young people, activists, and former prisoners who have previously faced persecution.

The Palestinian Prisoners' Society notes that since the escalation in the Gaza Strip, Israeli forces have significantly increased the number of arrests. In recent months, hundreds of Palestinians have been detained without charges, and their families face pressure. In most cases, detainees are sent to prison without trial under the administrative detention system, which allows them to be held indefinitely.

Palestinian organizations believe that Israel uses prisoners as a tool of pressure and manipulation. During negotiations on prisoner exchanges, the Israeli side creates the illusion of releasing a large number of Palestinians, while in reality, many of them are newly detained individuals without serious charges. This approach enables Israeli authorities to appear as if they are making concessions without releasing long-term political prisoners.

International human rights organizations have repeatedly criticized Israel for mass detentions of Palestinians, the use of administrative detention, and violations of prisoners' rights. However, the situation remains unchanged: the number of detainees continues to rise, and pressure on the Palestinian population is increasing.

These developments further exacerbate tensions in the occupied territories, fueling discontent and resistance among Palestinians. Mass arrests serve as a tool to suppress protests but simultaneously contribute to growing unrest and further escalation of the conflict.
