Netanyahu’s Ultimatum

The Israeli government is demanding the immediate release of civilians and soldiers captured by Hamas during the recent escalation of the conflict.

According to Israeli authorities, more than 130 hostages remain in captivity, including women, children, and elderly individuals. So far, negotiations for a possible prisoner exchange have failed to produce results.

What Happens After February 15?

Netanyahu has made it clear that if Hamas does not comply, Israel will continue its military campaign, aimed at eliminating Hamas’ military infrastructure.

Israeli forces are reportedly preparing for the next phase of operations, which could include expanding the ground offensive and targeting Hamas leadership and strategic facilities.

International Reactions

Israel’s ultimatum has sparked mixed reactions worldwide:
The U.S. and the EU support the demand for hostage release but urge caution to prevent further escalation.
Arab nations, including Qatar and Egypt, are attempting to mediate negotiations.
The UN warns that renewed military action could worsen Gaza’s humanitarian crisis.

Hamas’ response to the ultimatum will determine the next steps in this unfolding conflict.
