Israel on the social network X made a mistake with the place of birth of Jesus, causing a wave of criticism
On the official Israeli account on the social network X, a post was published where Nazareth was mistakenly called the birthplace of Jesus, which caused a wave of criticism. After the correction, Nazareth was called the "hometown" of Jesus.
A scandal broke out on the official Israeli page on the social network X due to an error in the publication. Israeli authorities have said that Nazareth, allegedly the birthplace of Jesus, is being attacked by Hezbollah. Nazareth, as you know, is the Arab capital of Israel, where Muslims make up about 70% of the population and Christians make up 30%. However, according to Christian beliefs, Jesus was born in Bethlehem, which is located on the West Bank of the Jordan River, part of the State of Palestine. The post attracted numerous critical comments, after which it was promptly edited, indicating that Nazareth is the "hometown" of Jesus, and not the place of his birth.
