On the night of August 12-13, the world was on edge over the threat of an Iranian missile attack on Israel, tweeted by the Voice of the Islamic Republic. It was reported that the attack could take place at 02:00 local time. Israel responded to the threat by raising its air force and putting troops on full alert. Western media increased tension by spreading information about the possible attack.

However, despite all the expectations and preparations, the night passed quietly - no strike followed. This event was yet another reminder of how fragile the situation in the region is, where any threat can cause serious repercussions in the international arena.
