At the G20 summit in Rio de Janeiro, the leaders of the countries called for a comprehensive ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon, expressing concern about the deteriorating humanitarian situation in the region. The final declaration also stressed the need to resolve the Ukrainian crisis in accordance with the UN Charter. The leaders noted the negative impact of the conflict on the global economy and food security.  Among other key topics: Commitment to a world free of nuclear weapons. Combating climate change through international cooperation. Eliminating the disproportionate impact of crises on the poorest segments of the population. The G20 leaders also supported the reform of the UN Security Council, noting the need to expand the representation of countries in Africa, the Asia-Pacific region, Latin America and the Caribbean. These initiatives underline the desire of the world's largest economies to strengthen global stability and justice.
