The European Court of Justice has accepted the case against the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, for refusing to disclose personal correspondence with Pfizer CEO Albert Burla. The correspondence concerned the purchase of vaccines against COVID-19. The court session is scheduled for November 15. Earlier, the European Court of Justice ruled that the European Commission violated the rules for the purchase of vaccines in 2020 and 2021 by hiding data on the cost of drugs to the public and not providing evidence of the absence of a conflict of interest when concluding a contract.
