Elon Musk has made a shocking statement that could shake political and scientific circles. He accused the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) of funding the development of biological weapons, including the COVID-19 virus.

“USAID is a nest of radical left-wing Marxists who hate America,” the entrepreneur stated. He further claimed that the agency used taxpayer money to create viruses that led to the deaths of millions of people.

Why Is Musk Attacking USAID?

USAID has long faced criticism for a lack of transparency and interference in other countries' internal affairs. However, Musk has taken it a step further—he alleges that the agency not only misused government funds but was actively involved in developing dangerous viruses.

His accusations come at a time when former U.S. President Donald Trump’s administration was pushing for USAID’s reorganization. There were plans to transfer its functions to the State Department, viewing the agency as ineffective and politically driven. Now, Musk is openly calling for its complete shutdown.

No Response – And That’s Suspicious

Following Musk’s remarks, USAID has remained silent. Neither in Washington nor in its international offices—including in Kazakhstan—has the agency issued any official statements.

This silence only fuels suspicions. If the accusations are unfounded, why isn’t USAID rushing to deny them?

The Consequences Could Be Devastating

If even part of Musk’s claims is confirmed, it could trigger one of the biggest scandals in U.S. humanitarian policy history. International aid programs could be jeopardized, and trust in Western institutions could suffer severe damage.

For now, the key question remains: will USAID explain its actions, or will it choose to ignore the accusations?
