Deferred payment of debts for soldiers in Kazakhstan: new support measures
Kazakhstani military conscripts will get credit holidays for the period of service and 60 days after, without the need to apply. Public discussion of the project will last until 10 July.
The Open NPA portal has published a draft providing for credit holidays for enlisted servicemen in Kazakhstan. These measures are aimed at easing the financial burden on conscript soldiers.
The essence of the project is that military conscripts are granted a deferment on bank loans and microcredits for the entire period of service, as well as for 60 days after its completion. Importantly, this deferment will not require an application - the process will be automatic.
The draft has been put up for public discussion, which will last until 10 July. This is an opportunity for citizens and stakeholders to express their opinions and suggestions on the issue.
In addition, among the points of the law sent to President Kasym-Jomart Tokayev for his signature is a ban on extending loans without the consent of spouses. This measure is also aimed at protecting the rights of military families and other citizens.
The new measures can significantly support servicemen and their families, reducing the financial burden and ensuring a more stable future. Feedback from the public and the results of the discussion will show to what extent these initiatives will be accepted and implemented.
