Cruise ship with go-kart track: speed, views, and luxury in one
Norwegian Prima offers ocean-top racing, panoramic cabins, and cruises from €900.
American cruise company Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) has stunned the tourism market with its flagship vessel, the Norwegian Prima. Towering like a 20-story building, this ship is the world’s first to feature a three-level go-kart track on its deck.
The track stretches 420 meters, with sections extending beyond the ship’s edge, hovering over the ocean. Electric karts reach speeds of up to 48 km/h, offering a thrilling racing experience above the waves. A 15-minute race costs $22.
The Norwegian Prima sails routes through the Caribbean, Bermuda, and Northern Europe. Depending on the season and destination, an 11-day cruise starts at €900.
Beyond karting, the ship features pools, spa centers, international restaurants, concert venues, and panoramic lounges. Cabins meet five-star hotel standards, and the infrastructure is designed to accommodate several thousand guests.
The Prima project has redefined cruise travel, combining entertainment, speed, and luxury in a single experience.
