Burkina Faso President Ibrahim Traore: Africa must develop its economy without Western loans
Burkina Faso President Ibrahim Traore said Africa does not need help from the World Bank, the IMF, Europe or America. He said Africans have everything they need to develop economically without external loans.
Burkina Faso President Ibrahim Traore made a bold statement, stressing that Africa must abandon its dependence on external loans provided by institutions such as the World Bank, the IMF, as well as aid from Europe and America. He said that Africans have all the resources necessary for independent economic development and called for an end to being "financial slaves" using external loans. Traore believes that Africa must rely on its own strength and resources to build a sustainable and independent economy.
