Biden imposed sanctions on Zionist settlers
Joe Biden imposed sanctions on organizations and individuals involved in illegal settlement construction in the West Bank, despite U.S. support for the war in Gaza.
US President Joe Biden has imposed new sanctions against organizations and individuals associated with the illegal construction of settlements in the occupied West Bank. The settlement development organization Amana and its subsidiary Binyaney were sanctioned. The U.S. Treasury Department has described Amana as a key element of the extremist movement, accusing it of violence against Palestinians. In addition, the US State Department has imposed sanctions against three individuals and one organization for participating in violence or destruction of property in the West Bank. Despite these measures, the United States continues to support the Zionist regime's war in Gaza, including financial, military and intelligence assistance, which is estimated to have caused the deaths of about 44,000 Gazan civilians over the past year. The sanctions were imposed shortly before Donald Trump returned to the White House. It is expected that he may cancel them in the early days of his presidency, given his pro-Zionist policies. Biden's actions are regarded as a symbolic step against the background of the United States' continued support for Israeli policy.
