Azerbaijan and Turkey conduct naval special forces exercises
The joint exercises "SAT-SAS-2024" of the naval commandos of Azerbaijan and Turkey are taking place at the Aksaz naval base in Turkey.
According to the training plan for 2024, joint exercises "SAT-SAS-2024" are being held in Turkey with the participation of units of underwater attack and underwater defense of the navies of Azerbaijan and Turkey.
The exercises are taking place at the Aksaz naval base in the Turkish city of Marmaris. Naval commandos are working out the tasks of capturing target ships and improving cooperation in joint operations. The exercises began in November and will last until November 29.Their goal is to strengthen cooperation between the naval forces of the two countries and increase the combat capability of naval units.
The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan notes the importance of such events for strengthening regional security and strengthening friendly ties between Azerbaijan and Turkey.
