Azerbaijan and Pakistan discussed strengthening military cooperation

Chief of the General Staff of the Azerbaijani Army Karim Veliyev held a meeting with Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of Pakistan Shamshad Mirza. During the talks, the parties discussed the current state of military cooperation, the possibilities of its further development and strengthening of strategic partnership. The participants of the meeting stressed the importance of such events for strengthening bilateral ties between Azerbaijan and Pakistan, and also noted their contribution to the development of defense cooperation. The meeting underlines the desire of both countries to further strengthen friendly and strategic relations.
