Armenia has offered Azerbaijan simplified border control on the Zangezur corridor. The proposal, which was positively received in Baku, includes: Visa-free entry for citizens of Azerbaijan and Turkey for up to 30 days.

 Electronic customs declarations to simplify the processing of transit goods. The Zangezur corridor plays a strategic role in connecting the western regions of Azerbaijan with the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic, as well as in strengthening economic and transport cooperation in the region

. This step can contribute to the improvement of bilateral relations and the implementation of the trilateral agreement signed between Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan in 2020 on unblocking all transport communications in the region.
