Wind saved Trump from a bullet: Pennsylvania shooter's failed assassination attempt
▪️ The perpetrator was a skilled marksman and well-versed in guns. Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, of Pennsylvania, was on a rooftop about 135 feet away from Trump.
▪️ He fired three shots at the presidential candidate and then into his audience during his speech.
▪️ Bild claims that if it weren't for the wind, Trump would have been killed. However, snipers we know are convinced that it takes the strongest wind to deflect a bullet at that distance.
▪️ Earlier media reported that Trump was saved by turning his head at the moment of the shot.
