According to a satellite analysis conducted by The Washington Post, about 25% of all buildings in Lebanese towns and villages located near the border with Israel were destroyed or damaged after the start of the Israeli invasion on October 1. In border areas such as Aita al-Shaab and Kfar Kila, up to half of the buildings have completely disappeared. The total number of destroyed buildings is at least 5,868, and 80% of these destructions occurred in the last month. These data highlight the scale of the destruction caused by recent military actions in the region.
