Aid to Gaza has fallen to its lowest level since the start of the war, despite U.S. warnings to Israel
The United States has warned Israel of the risk of reducing military aid if humanitarian aid supplies to Gaza do not increase. However, the volume of supplies has fallen to the lowest level since the beginning of the conflict, and humanitarian conditions continue to deteriorate.
According to Bloomberg, the volume of humanitarian aid entering the Gaza Strip has reached its lowest level since the beginning of the war, despite the recent US warning to Israel. On October 13, U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin sent a letter to the Israeli government, stressing that U.S. military assistance could be at risk if conditions for aid supplies to Gaza do not improve. The letter pointed out the need to ensure the regular entry of humanitarian supplies and to pause the fighting for their delivery. Representatives of humanitarian organizations report that since the letter was sent, the situation in Gaza has deteriorated further.
