Accident with a bus in Almaty: condition of the injured and details of the accident
In Almaty there was a traffic accident involving a bus, which injured 25 people. Four adults were hospitalized with fractures, one person died before the ambulance arrived. The rest of the injured received outpatient treatment.
As a result of a major road accident involving a bus in Almaty, 25 people were injured. The incident occurred in the morning in the central part of the city, when the bus, which was following its route, collided with several cars. According to preliminary data, the cause of the accident could be a violation of traffic rules or technical malfunction of the vehicle.
Of the 25 injured, four adults were seriously injured and immediately hospitalized. They were diagnosed with fractures of the upper and lower extremities and their condition is assessed as medium severity. Currently, all hospitalized patients are receiving the necessary treatment at the hospital, under the close supervision of doctors.
"The rest of the victims, after receiving the necessary recommendations and primary medical care, were sent for outpatient treatment at their place of residence. In total, 24 people sought medical help. Unfortunately, one of the victims died before the arrival of the ambulance service", - told in the press service of the city health care.
Emergency services immediately arrived at the scene of the accident and promptly provided assistance to the injured and organized the transportation of the seriously ill to medical facilities. The situation was under the control of the police, who ensured safety at the accident site and regulated traffic.
Ambulance staff and medics are doing everything possible to ensure quality treatment and quick recovery of all the injured. The city authorities are also working to clarify all the circumstances of the accident and are taking measures to prevent similar incidents in the future. An investigation is currently underway to determine the exact causes of the accident and whether all rules of vehicle operation were followed.
