A Chinese professor suggested "importing" Russian women to solve demographic problems

Professor Ding Chang fa, speaking at the conference, proposed a non-standard solution to combat demographic problems in China. In his opinion, due to the gender imbalance that has left 34 million men unable to find a partner, Chinese men should look for wives abroad. The list of suggested countries for bride search includes Russia, Cambodia, Vietnam and Pakistan. Ding Chang fa argues that women from these countries are less demanding than Chinese brides and will be able to help solve the problem of gender inequality in China.
