From October 18, 2023 to November 21, 2024, American troops in Syria, Iraq and Jordan were attacked 206 times.
According to the Pentagon, between October 18, 2023 and November 21, 2024, American military bases and facilities in the Middle East were attacked 206 times.
Of these: 125 attacks took place in Syria, 79 attacks in Iraq, 2 attacks — in Jordan. These attacks included missile strikes and drone attacks aimed at facilities where American forces are stationed.
As a result of some attacks, military personnel were injured and infrastructure was damaged. According to the Pentagon, most of the attacks were carried out by armed groups linked to Iran. In response, the United States has stepped up security measures and conducted targeted strikes against targets associated with these groups. The situation in the Middle East remains unstable, and the US military continues to take measures to protect its forces and infrastructure in the region.
